When we arrived at the restaurant we were welcomed in a nice and friendly manner. The guest room is rather sparsely and carelessly furnished. Someone was quickly at the table for the first order. Unfortunately, the food was simply bad: from fried potatoes that were too greasy, to French fries that felt like several times fried, to watery fish, no dish out of five was okay. In addition, ALL dishes were cold! All in all, the impression arose that the dishes were being prepared and insufficiently heated, as the food was served after about 10 minutes. For us no sign of freshly prepared. Unfortunately, we could not notice this on site, as a waiter rarely showed up, nor was anyone asked after the meal whether one liked it. Unfortunately, we cannot understand the good rating in the least.

Home cooking. The lamb was cooked wonderfully! Friendly and fast service. One could complain about the optical furnishings of the restaurant, but this is ultimately a matter of taste;)

Despite Corona, we spontaneously got a place outdoors. Very friendly staff, child friendly and nice. The food came quickly and was solidly good. The prices were reasonable. Gladly again!

In search of a good beef and lamb restaurant, we came across the Eiderstedter Krog on an absolute gourmet pearl, as they are actually rarely found. Friendly service (as is not the case everywhere in SPO) and local ambience invite you to have a closer look at the menu. And she has the talent! We had a sea buckthorn cocktail as an aperitif, then lamb fillets and rump steak with Merlot, and vanilla ice cream from a local farm. The meat comes from local cattle and lambs and you can taste it too! Total fine and with the side dishes (vegetables, potatoes, fried potatoes) optimally rounded. One thing I have to say: Other users have praised the fried potatoes in this restaurant. I was skeptical because I'm not a big fried potato fan. But what I got offered here was incredible. I did not think so, but even the fried potatoes were a poem. Gorgeous! They almost taste like fries, are optimally fried and not greasy at all, so you will not get "full" after a few bites and have enough. But can eat it forever. All food was excellent and really every member of our family went home happy. Keep it up! It's hardly better!

Delicious food as with mum, or fine for the gourmet. You can also find traditional Eiderstedter dishes here. It does not taste good. Gladly again and again. Today only something fast, next time something nice again.
